The trough of a low pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) is affecting parts of Visayas and Mindanao, and the southwest monsoon (habagat) would prevail in several parts of the country, according to state weather bureau Pagasa’s early Saturday morning advisory.
Pagasa’s 4 a.m. weather bulletin indicates that Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms due to the trough of LPA.
Also, the same weather pattern is affecting Batanes, Cagayan, and Ilocos Norte due to the trough of a tropical cyclone outside PAR.

Meanwhile, habagat will prevail in MIMAROPA, the Zamboanga Peninsula, and Northern Mindanao, the rest of Visayas, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, the Bicol Region, and the rest of Mindanao.
Trough of LPA, ‘habagat’ will bring rain showers, thunderstorms across PH
Localized thunderstorms would be affecting the rest of Luzon, Pagasa said, warning that flash floods or landslides could occur in areas experiecing moderate to occasionally heavy rain., This news data comes from:http://052298.com
